Siog Moore,

Owner, Manager & Founding Partner of the Little Land Nursery and Montessori Centre

In 1988, Siog Moore arrived in Dubai as a newly qualified nurse from St. Vincent's Hospital in Dublin. Securing a position in the state-of-the-art Neonatal ICU at Latifa Women's and Children's Hospital marked the beginning of her journey in the healthcare field.

Fast forward to 1994, when Siog's first two children were ready for nursery. Despite the convenience of having home help in Dubai, finding the right balance between being a mother and a nurse proved challenging. The absence of a nursery that matched Siog's vision for an excellent preschool experience for her children added to the struggle.

Fueled by this challenge, Siog and a close friend, who was a teacher, decided to establish their own nursery. This decision gave rise to the birth of Little Land Nursery. From the outset, they defined a set of guiding values that have stood the test of time. Little Land Nursery remains committed to hiring qualified Montessori or Early Years teachers, educated assistants, and maintains a focus on child development and preschool education.

A vow was made to steer clear of becoming a mere 'babysitting' facility and, significantly, to minimize screen time. Their unwavering dedication is to deliver quality engagement with the children, with a strong emphasis on Early Years Education.
